Our core business is the development of customized management systems for technical-physical testing laboratories. Since our foundation in 1995, we have made a name for ourselves in the industry as “the testing lab savvy”: We know the typical laboratory processes, but we also know that no two laboratories are alike. Highly individual requirements are therefore the rule and not the exception. Based on this basic understanding, we develop innovative and individual solutions – suitable for every customer need.

Individuality stands for our claim to develop individual software solutions that meet the specific requirements of the customer in every detail. The spectrum ranges from a new segment integrated into the existing system to a customized complete system.

We develop customized management systems for technical-physical testing laboratories with the aim of making processes more efficient, increasing laboratory performance and reducing testing or unit costs.

Our event formats: Laboratory Management Conference and Webinar Series

Every two years, our Laboratory Management Conference provides information on trends and topics in the industry. It is also the only platform for the exchange of experience between specialists and managers of technical-physical testing laboratories in German-speaking countries. Our webinar series offers supplementary specialist information on the topics of Laboratory 4.0, ISO 17025 and key figures in the laboratory.

Our target group: technical-physical testing laboratories

Technical-physical test laboratories differ considerably from laboratories with a purely analytical focus - in almost every process step. Our individual laboratory management systems are designed to meet these special requirements. They make it possible to map the enormous range of tests and tasks of technical-physical testing laboratories.

From resource planning, preparation of test specimens and test set-up to recording and documenting results: even within typical laboratory processes, the tasks vary considerably. In addition, manufacturer laboratories have different priorities than contract laboratories. We deliver custom-fit software solutions

Our solution: a flexible, individual and scalable system

Standard software such as the laboratory information management system (LIMS) widely used in analytical laboratories can therefore hardly reflect the range and diversity of tasks as well as the heterogeneity of technical-physical testing laboratories. Adaptations are time-consuming and rarely lead to satisfactory results.

Our TestLab Plus 025 starter package meets these challenges in two ways: On the one hand, all typical processes of technical-physical test laboratories are already preconfigured. On the other hand, it acts as a startup package in the literal sense of the word: TestLab Plus 025 is so flexible and dynamic that it can be further developed in any direction to suit the customer’s needs.

Our company history

Since its foundation in 1995, dacore looks back on many years of growth. With the early focus on information management systems for technical-physical testing laboratories, a central course was set that made us what we are today: An innovative digitization partner that knows the industry's requirements inside out.

On 07/31/1995 dacore Datenbanksysteme is founded as a sole proprietorship in Neunkirchen am Brand. The first order is the optimization of a system for statistical monitoring of the product quality of a medical device manufacturer. In the first years, various software projects are implemented in the areas of material logistics, customer complaint management and product quality. A technical information system for supermarkets is established.

In 1999, the development of the “TestLab Plus” system for test laboratories begins. Since 2001 dacore is a public limited company based in Heroldsberg near Nuremberg. From 2004 on, the demand for “TestLab Plus” increases strongly. The system is introduced in many well-known test laboratories and its database platform is extended by Oracle. Numerous functional enhancements are added. As of 2006, the first certification bodies are working with dacore's software.

Follow-up orders are recorded in all existing laboratory management projects. dacore organizes the first laboratory management conference in 2007, which becomes a great success. The specialization in technical-physical testing laboratories is continuously expanded.

In 2015, dacore celebrates its 20th anniversary. Meanwhile, more than 200 laboratories and over 2,500 users work with solutions from dacore. The system is constantly being further developed. The focus is on the topic of global collaboration in laboratories distributed around the world. dacore is also establishing a laboratory community for laboratories to exchange experiences.

The sixth Laboratory Management Conference 2018 focused on topics related to “Laboratory 4.0”. In the course of the Corona pandemic, webinar formats are being developed to keep in touch with the industry digitally and to maintain the flow of information and exchange with customers.
